What to See and Do in
Fiordland has achieved World Heritage status and is renowned as the home of Mitre Peak and the Fiords of Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound.
Also well-known are the Great Walks (the Milford Track, Routeburn Track, and Kepler Tracks), within the Fiordland National Park and Mount Aspiring National Park.
Untouched ancient rainforest and waterfalls which cascade hundreds of metres into deep black fiords are just some of the many breath-taking attractions in this area.
Fiordland is one of the most beautiful and dramatic parts of New Zealand. Explore the treasures of this region by water, air or hiking.
