Full Description

Take this stunning 45-minute flight out of Queenstown Airport, depart over Skippers canyon learning about it's rich history. Surrounded by mountainous terrain; enjoy incredible views of the Southern Alps before orbiting around Mt. Earnslaw and Pluto Peak. Our knowledgeable, local, pilots offer detailed commentary of the area they've flown around for years.

After spending a bit of time at Mt. Earnslaw, we will fly you over the Dart River, one of New Zealand's beautiful braided rivers, and then off to Lake Unknown. We will then track down towards Glenorchy, our namesake, before heading over Lake Wakatipu, New Zealand's 3rd largest lake. Follow the lake back to Queenstown airport where we you will land.

Meeting Point

Please advise if you wish to take advantage of our complimentary transfers. Transfer's are available from all central Queenstown, Hotels, Motels, Hostels & Holiday Parks as well as main bus stops. 
 
Pick ups start 55minutes before departure, and specific times will be provided on the Glenorchy Air email confirmation you will receive. 
 
There is also the option to drive out to Queenstown Airport, you can park at Queenstown Airport car park A (short stay) where parking is $8-10 for the duration of the time you are with us. 
 
Our desk for check in, is inside Queenstown Airport main terminal building opposite Avis car hire down by domestic baggage claim.

We recommend bringing sunglasses, sensible footwear for getting in and out of the plane.

Full refund if cancelled up to 24 hours before activity starts.

Good weather is required for this experience. If we need to cancel due to poor weather, you'll be offered a different date or a full refund.
