Under 8 years must parasail with someone over 18 years.
Tandem and triple flights must weigh less than 220 kilos combined.

Cancellation policy

Full refund if cancelled up to 24 hours before activity starts.

Good weather is required for this experience. If we need to cancel due to poor weather, you'll be offered a different date or a full refund.

What should I wear for a parasailing adventure?

Wear comfortable clothing suitable for the weather. Its cooler on the water than on land, so consider bringing a jacket or layers. If you plan to get wet, swimwear is recommended.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my booking?

If weather conditions are unfavorable, Bay of Islands Parasail may cancel the activity for safety reasons. They have a 24-hour cancellation policy with a $10 admin fee for refunded bookings. No refund is provided for cancellations within 24 hours of departure time.

Can I parasail solo or only in tandem?

You can parasail solo or in tandem. Bay of Islands Parasail offers single, tandem, and triple flights, allowing you to choose the experience that best suits you.

When should I check in for the tour?

Please check in 15 minutes prior to the departure time.
 

Are there weight limits for tandem or triple flights?

Yes, tandem and triple flights must have a combined weight of less than 220 kg.
 

Can children parasail on their own?

Children under 8 years old must parasail with someone over 18 years.
