Full Description
Hop on the trail at Nelson Airport, enjoy a leisurely 26 km cycle through to the lively seaside township of Mapua (about 2 hours excluding stops). Grade 2 is easy. Cross from Rabbit Island on the cycle ferry to Mapua. We transport you from Mapua back to Nelson.
On the way, visit award-winning wineries for wine tastings, cafes, restaurants, a cheese shop, swim at white sand beaches, visit an art glass blowing studio, sample craft beers, indulge in scrumptious real berry ice creams, and enjoy beautiful wetlands home to thousands of native and exotic nesting birds. There’s something for everyone.

Transfer back to Nelson from Mapua
Meet at Nelson Cycle Hire depot in Airport House, located at Nelson Airport (just 150 m from the main arrivals and departures terminal). Look to your right as you exit the arrivals terminal, and you will see a cream coloured terminal called Airport House. If you are driving, please follow the signs to the Value parking area, and you will see Airport House on your left, and Nelson Cycle Hire is located around the side of the building.
