Do you have onsite parking?

Yes, we offer undercover drop off/pickup entrances for large coaches and oversized vehicles. There is also free onsite customer parking available.

Are the digital light displays suitable for guests?

Throughout the experience, various digital light displays may be sensitive for guests with sensory processing sensitivity (SPS). We have designated rest areas if you feel overstimulated. Please reach out to our staff for assistance.

Can I take food and drink into the experience?

Food and beverages are not allowed inside the Māwhera Pā experience hub. There are plenty of local cafes close by.

Can I take photos?

Visitors can take photos in and around the Māwhera Pā experience spaces, the shop, and the entrance. However, please note that tripods and video recordings are not allowed in the experience exhibits. If you'd like, you can share your photos on social media using the hashtag #PounamuPathway or tag us using @PounamuPathway. All commercial photography and filming, including media organisations, is only permitted by prior arrangement.
