In terms of NZ adventure, it doesn't get better than this! Our extremely experienced pilots will guide you through the process of becoming airborne. Maximum weight of 120kg
A chairlift pass is required to access the launch area via chairlift. A one-off pass can be purchased at time of check-in for $35 if the participant doesn't have a ski-pass.
Passengers must come dressed for temperatures ranging from -6 degrees to 6 degrees.
Hiking boots that provide ankle support is required to access the chairlifts. These can be supplied at time of check-in if the customer doesn't have their own boots.

Yes. Skytrek Tandems Limited offers winter tandem paragliding at Coronet Peak from mid-June to September, aligning with the ski field’s operating season. The experience is weather-dependent, but generally runs daily during this period.

Are there any weight restrictions for tandem paragliding at Coronet Peak?

Yes, maximum wight limit is 120 kg.

What clothing and gear should I wear for a winter paragliding flight?

Wear weather-appropriate layered clothing and enclosed, sturdy footwear is recommended.

Can friends or family watch the takeoff and landing?

Yes, they can.

What happens if it rains or the bad weather on that day ?

Poor weather means cancellation or rescheduling, with a full refund offered if conditions are unsafe.

What should I bring for the tour?

Please bring sunscreen, a jacket to stay comfortable, and, of course, your smile to enjoy the experience.

Do you provide photos and videos?

Yes, your pilot will be taking photos and videos during your flight. The package will include 30–40 photos and 2-3 videos, and you will be able to purchase them directly from our pilot after you land.

What is your cancellation policy?

We offer a full refund if cancelled up to 48 hours before the activity starts.

Do you have parking at your check-in location?

No, we don’t have parking at our check-in location. If you plan to drive into town, be aware that car parking spaces are in short supply, which means you’ll need to leave plenty of time to find a parking spot and then make your way to our check-in desk.
