Full Description

Say on board or get dropped off and spend an hour or a day on the beautiful island of Matakana. This is an idyllic beach visit. Beautiful beach walks, fishing, swimming and picnics are popular.

Please note Matakana Island drop off is available on the 11am or 12pm cruise subject to weather and sea conditions. This is at the skippers discretion.

Scenic features of our harbour cruise include the Statue of Tangaroa, a diversity of landscapes from untouched white sandy beaches, lush green forests, islands, contrasted by the massive highly developed port infrastructure. Optional Matakana Island drop off pick up on the 11am and 12pm cruise.

Occasionally you may see some seasonal wildlife on your cruise like blue penguins, sea birds or NZ fur seals.

Meeting Point

Pilot Quay wharf ( a short 5 minute stroll along the walking track that goes around the base of the Mount Maunganui on the harbourside. Exit Pilot Quay off where Adams Ave and The Mall intercept.
