Akaroa is a small coastal town where you can enjoy a mix of relaxing and exciting things to do. One of the most popular activities in Akaroa is taking a harbour cruise. These boat trips give you a chance to see rare Hector’s dolphins, fur seals, and even little blue penguins.
If you like being more active, you can rent a kayak or paddleboard and explore the calm waters at your own pace.
