This Waikato ebike tour is designed for riders of all abilities and fitness levels who want a leisurely experience with a taste of New Zealand's rural scenery and stunning views of the Waikato River. The route features 80% wide paved cycleway, 15% custom-built 3m wide boardwalks, and 5% road riding, with distances ranging from 10 to 70 km (1–5 hours) to suit your preference.

The journey begins with a gentle paved cycleway from Ngaruawahia to Te Rapa, continuing to Hamilton Gardens for lunch by the river. If 25 km is enough for you, you can end your ride here. For those eager for more, there's additional riding on the other side of the Gardens.

Experience the beauty of a preserved natural grove of historic significance, try out your skills on the pump track or circuit lap near Waikato University, and enjoy a guided tour of some lesser-known cycle paths. 10:30 -11:30 - Ride 12km from Ngaruawahia to Pukete (Hamilton) for morning tea stop

11:45 - 13:00 - Ride 15km from Pukete to Hamilton Gardens

13:00 - 13:45 - Lunch in Hamilton Gardens

14:00 - 15:45 - Ride 25km from Hamilton Gardens to Cambridge Velodrome (option to ride an additional 15km to Lake Karapiro)

15:45 - 18:00 - Packup and travel back to Auckland drop-off point/hotel
