Our 6-hour charter aboard comfortable cruising catamarans includes the opportunity to walk a section of the world-renowned Abel Tasman National Park track, walk on beaches, kayaking equipment, a delicious platter-style lunch with local wine, beer, and drinks, sunscreen, insect repellent, and towels. Meeting Point

Your charter leaves from Stephens Bay at 10 am.

We have no offices at Stephens Bay, but we are the only commercial operators from this quiet little beach. Please wait at the top of the beach until the skipper collects you at about 9.50 am.

Additional Information

Around an hour's drive from Nelson. We suggest you bring your swimsuit for kayaking, a windproof jacket, and shoes that you can easily remove for getting on and off the beaches.
It is helpful to have your shoes off to access the boat from the beach.

Good weather is required for this experience. If we need to cancel due to poor weather, you'll be offered a different date or a full refund.

If the weather conditions make cruising unsafe, on the day of the trip, Abel Tasman Charters will cancel the cruise at no cost or rebook you for another day, if space is available. This is at the skipper’s discretion, and there is no charge in this situation.
Cancellation by the customer or agent:
No cancellation fees applicable if cancellation is due to Covid19 travel restrictions.
We operate everyday of the year except Christmas Day December 25th
We will hold the shared cruise up to 15 minutes for passengers who are lost or running late beyond this we will sail with no refund.
