Full Description
Sunair is the only airline offering scheduled direct flights between Tauranga and Whitianga, providing the fastest and most convenient way to travel between the island and the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula. Spend less time travelling and more time exploring two of New Zealand's most spectacular coastal destinations.
Sunair Aviation have their own terminal located in the hangar to the left of Tauranga Airport. Drive just past the roundabout (do not drive into the airport), there is a lane between the two long term carparks. Turn right and drive to the end where you will find Sunair's hangar.

15kg baggage allowance
Sunair only accommodates d-r-o-p off & pick up parking only outside our hangar. You will need to park your car in either the short term or long term car park. The short term carpark is located outside Tauranga Airport's terminal building and is intended for people who are meeting or seeing passengers off and for overnight parking. The first 20 minutes are free. After this the charge increases by $2 each hour at a max of $10 for the day. Long term parking decreases in cost per day the longer you stay.
Full refund if cancelled up to 48 hours before activity starts.
Good weather is required for this experience. If we need to cancel due to poor weather, you'll be offered a different date or a full refund.
