Starting at our base, we will run through all safety briefings, and have time to get changed before heading onto the water.
During the day your guide will show you why we think this place is so special. Checking out all the wildlife and remote coastlines we can find.
Along the way we will stop at a beach to stretch the legs and have a delicious kiwi picnic lunch, and a hot cuppa before returning back to Anakiwa by 4:30pm.

You can expect to see a variety of sea and forest birdlife and possible sightings of rays, seals, little blue penguins, dolphins and if you are super lucky – Orca!
On those warmer summer days we can stop for a swim in one of the beautiful, secluded bays.

This is a fantastic way to maximise your time in this area with a half day of sea kayaking and a half day walking on the popular Queen Charlotte Track.
Paddle along the spectacular coastline minutes from our base before heading up into picturesque Onahau Bay, finishing at Mistletoe Bay around lunchtime.
After lunch you simply leave the kayak for us to collect and head away on to the Queen Charlotte Track, a section that has spectacular views back down where you have kayaked and then later, towards your destination at Anakiwa.

Grab your bike and head out on the Queen Charlotte Track for some stunning scenery and epic riding on one of NZ’s greatest pieces of single track riding or the newly formed Link Pathway. You can choose to finish at either Mistletoe Bay or Lochmara Lodge on the QCT or ride to Picton on the Link Pathway. Then relax, take a swim or enjoy a beverage while you wait for the Water Taxi to arrive and bring you back to Anakiwa.
