Sledging

Enjoy rapids, waves and the beautiful Kawarau River on a sturdy, easy-to-hold, very buoyant, manoeuvrable sledge. The sledge keeps you more on the surface of the water than the bodyboards. You still get all the action-packed fun of the rapids and the cliff jump, as well as a relaxing float. You just get a little more help from the sledge! 9km of pristine, beautiful water. It’s a trip not to be missed.
