The Queenstown Lord of The Ring tour – (Wakatipu Basin) combines a true 4WD tour with film locations from the LOTR trilogy. Glenorchy Lord Of the Rings– (Glenorchy) is the perfect sightseeing trip through the valleys beyond Glenorchy encompassing pivotal Lord of the Rings Scenes.

Traverse some of New Zealand's most picturesque routes, offering panoramic views of the majestic Southern Alps. Relive the magic of the Lord of the Rings trilogy as we visit iconic filming locales like Isengard, Ithilien Camp, Lothlorien & Fanghorn Forest, and the Battle of Amon Hen. Our journey continues in Queenstown, showcasing even more breathtaking cinematic settings such as the Misty Mountains and the Pillars of the Kings (Argonath). Guided by experts well-versed in Tolkien's realm, uncover lesser-known tidbits and tales from behind the scenes. Along the way, journey down historic gold mining roads and perhaps try your luck in searching for gold. Good weather is required for this experience. If we need to cancel due to poor weather, you'll be offered a different date or a full refund.
