One of only two mountain ranges in the world to run directly North-South, and spectacular to boot, The Remarkables is aptly named. This excursion takes you over the winding Shotover and Kawarau rivers and up to this dramatic mountain range for our landing, and if you’re flying in winter, we may even land in the snow! Take in the beauty of Lake Whakatipu, Queenstown, and the surrounding mountains (and definitely take some photographs) before we head back to base.

Check in 30 minutes prior to departure at Heliworks Queenstown, 64 Grant Road, Frankton, Queenstown 9304.

We can also pick you up from 37 Camp Street, Queenstown Central. Please indicate at the time of booking if you need to be picked up. You'll need to meet at this departure point 60 minutes prior to your flight time.

Full refund if cancelled up to 24 hours before activity starts.

Good weather is required for this experience. If we need to cancel due to poor weather, you'll be offered a different date or a full refund.

There is a minimum number of travellers for this experience. If the minimum isn't met and we need to cancel, we will offer a different date/experience or a full refund.
