Your guides are Māori descendants of those who were at the battle. You will stand on the very grounds where one of the most incredible battles occurred and listen to stories of chivalry during the battle. You will have the opportunity to explore the Historic Village that represents the European settlement of Tauranga. To complete this tour you will visit a local marae and take the opportunity to view the Tauranga harbour area from the surrounding hills. A truly stunning view!
