Climb aboard the V8 Chev Trike Motorcycle, buckle up and settle in for one of the more unique rides of your life.  Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the Bay of Islands on a V8 Trike. Bring your camera, sunglasses and sense of adventure!

We offer a unique tourist experience exploring the Bay of Islands on our V8 Chevrolet Trikes.  Fantastic way to see the scenery and amazing views of the Bay of Islands in a style you will never forget & want to do again!

Built in Christchurch New Zealand by James D Trikes and powered by a 5.7L 350 Chevrolet Edelbrock motor, our trikes are the ultimate in power and excitement.

When you go for a ride with the Thunder Trikes you will want to ride for miles. They have been built for comfort and with a low centre of gravity, the bikes have less roll and amazing grip around corners.

NO HELMETS REQUIRED – due to the fact that our trikes are registered as convertible cars and come complete with full seat belts. You can enjoy the wind in your face and experience the adrenaline!

A Fully guided tour attraction thru idyllic Paihia, via the beachfront. Choose from three tour options including Waitangi lookout, Haruru Falls and Opua Inlet and Marina, all located in the beautiful Bay of Islands, New Zealand. We provide awesome tours filled with gorgeous views, great photo opportunities and adrenaline packed thrills. A definite bucket list experience!

This activity is for two passengers (minimum) We have two Thunder Trikes so we can take bookings of two or four passengers. Please note that in accordance with the law in New Zealand all children under 7 years must have a booster seat.
