Starting at the Raglan Rock Adventure Centre you’ll be geared up in the latest industry standard sea kayaking attire, before a short drive to our launching spot. Once you’ve received the briefing, learnt how to control your kayaks, and are on the water, you’ll paddle out of the bay and into the Whaingaroa Harbour, until you reach the destination of Okete Falls.

Upon your departure from the falls your experienced guide will lead you past stunning limestone rock formations, before instructing you to beach in a secluded bay overlooking the majestic Maunga Karioi. As you await your freshly brewed tea, coffee or hot chocolate take a minute to admire the raw beauty and peace that the Whaingaroa Harbour has to offer. Continue to relax and enjoy a beautiful slice whilst sipping on your drink and listen to further stories associated with this corner of the harbour.
